Where I Came From and Where I Am

Just like many of us, Sweet told us that before camming, she had a very fragmented and critical view of herself: "I found myself uninteresting, had a hard time imposing limits on my relationships, especially romantic ones, and often acted out of neediness, seeking external validation to fill an internal void."

It was after a tense divorce and a serious episode of burnout caused by an intense routine as a pharmacist that she discovered Camera Prive, and everything changed. She tells us, "What began as curiosity ended up becoming my main source of income and providing me with earnings that I had never had before, in addition to being free to work whenever and wherever I want. Today I can study what I actually like. Before I had no way of doing so with my work schedule, and I take better care of myself, such as exercising, doing therapy, providing special occasions for my family and myself, and having a better quality of life. But for this to happen, I had to do some inner work to understand that camming is a serious business, and it requires my commitment."

All this changed how Sweet saw herself as a person, too, of course. She recalls, "After three years of working with camming, my perception has completely changed. How can I find myself uninteresting if there are several people who pay to be in my company and genuinely enjoy chatting and interacting with me? Today, I am much more selective about who has access to me, especially romantically, and I highly value my own company, rather than seek relationships just to fill a void. Camming has helped me to work on how I see myself, how I set boundaries, to improve my communication, and to get to know myself sexually."

These achievements and personal development have only further propelled our cam witch on her journey, because, as she told us, they also reflect a lot in the chats. She still has insecurities, but she does not let them show in her body language during the chat, remarking, "I like to enjoy my time with the person feeling comfortable – something genuine – and this exchange is much more important than the negative details."

The Emergence of the Coven

“Coven” is the name given to a gathering of witches, traditionally with up to 13 members. However, Sweet Witch's coven already has more than 7,000!

The cammodel created the Instagram page with the sole intention of no longer feeling alone and never imagined she would get this far. She explains, "Camming can be a very lonely job for many of us, and even if people close to us know about our work, such as family and friends, it's not the same as having someone close who goes through the same pains and achievements as you. It's really gratifying for me to be able to provide this welcoming space. In fact, the name 'Coven da Camming' came precisely from the idea of creating a safe haven for us to talk to each other and exchange experiences."

Sweet Witch sees this special, profound exchange as a process of mutual growth, and in her words, "By helping other women feel good about themselves, I end up reinforcing that same confidence in myself. Being an active voice within the niche also made me realize that my journey has a greater purpose. I love my job, and I love sharing experiences with other cammodels. It has completely changed the way I see myself and my importance within that space."

Between sincere DMs and question stickers, the cammodel recently went viral with the countless positive reports she received from her fellow Coven members. In addition to a moment on the internet, this has become an extremely rewarding milestone for her: "I am very moved by the stories from women who are getting back on their feet with camming, getting out of abusive relationships, being able to spend more time with their children and provide a better life, restructuring, changing, studying, reconnecting with their own sexuality and sensuality. Many can't talk about these achievements to anyone, because the people around them don't know they work as a cammodel. I feel like a secret confidant. I've been in that place where I felt totally alone. Having someone to cheer you on is very important.”

Empowerment

This word holds a strong meaning, even though it has been diluted by its excessive use on the web. It is the act of gaining power, authority, and dominance over something, in this case, over oneself and one's own life. That's what camming, when taken seriously like any other craft, can provide.

Cammodels are not victims; they are confident masters of themselves. Their experiences empower them and open up a world of diversity in which each one is valued and rewarded for their unique characteristics with not only money but personal growth too.

But without the intention of romanticizing the trade, our Sweet Witch speaks to the reality of life as a cammodel: "I see that there are some users who can be clueless, but they do not exceed the number of compliments and good chats. Being with people who enjoy your company just the way you are boosts your self-esteem, and it's not about seeking external validation, but about learning to see yourself in other ways, with more love, and recognizing your strengths. You can be whoever you want on camera, so be that hot, empowered version of yourself. Being sexy is an energy. It's in your posture. It's knowing how to steer the conversation. It's exuding confidence the way that you are. It's not necessarily related to the type of body you have."
