To get more exposure, we recommend establishing a routine, posting various content, analyzing what your followers like most about your posts from the statistics page, interacting with them, and watching your engagement soar.
Understanding the Numbers
Engagement in stories is the sum of various interactions between the user and the content published in this tool. While engagement info is only shown in stories, it's not the only way to generate it. Each and every interaction between you and the user generates engagement with your profile. However, with stories, you can track the metrics of these interactions more generally.
Engagement metrics present two important pieces of data: an engagement score and an engagement percentage. Learn more about what these data represent:
- Engagement Score: Each user interaction with your story generates an engagement score. The engagement score shows the sum of all the engagement points that the story generated in interactions with users who viewed it.
- Engagement Percentage: The percentage shown next to the engagement score refers to a comparison of the average engagement of your stories over the last 7 days to the engagement of that particular story. In other words, it demonstrates whether the level of engagement of that story is the same, lower, or higher than the average level of engagement of your stories of the last 7 days.
To see how your stories are doing, you should keep an eye on these two metrics, in addition to the likes and views of each story specifically. The goal is to generate higher engagement scores and to maintain a positive engagement percentage (above 0%) for all content. Learn more about engagement percentages:
- Neutral Engagement Percentage (equal to 0%): If your engagement percentage is at 0%, your engagement level isn't going up or down. It's in balance. This means that the same number of users are interacting at the same level as last week. Your audience and their interactions with your Stories haven't grown or shrunk. It's not a bad metric. It means that you're managing to maintain interaction with your audience well, but you can start thinking about how to increase interactions with those who already follow you.
1
- Negative Engagement Percentage (below 0%): If your engagement percentage is presenting negative numbers, engagement is decreasing. This means that, compared to the level of engagement in the last week, a smaller number of users viewed/interacted with your stories. This may indicate that your audience didn't like the content you posted, and you'll need to look for new ways to improve what you're producing.
2
- Positive Engagement Percentage (above 0%): Even if it's just 1% more, if your engagement percentage is positive, then you deserve to be congratulated! This means that, compared to the average engagement of all your stories in the last week, you were able to increase your interaction with your followers and customers in that story! Positive engagement indicates more attractive content, which sparks user interactions and generates greater exposure for your profile. In other words, this is the right way for your content to gain visibility!

So, pay attention to the type of content that generates the most interaction, the time of the post, the duration, how frequently you post – everything counts. This will make it easier for you to improve your content and stand out on users' timelines.
Now, more specifically, about the engagement score in stories, every mini-interaction a user has with the content is counted. So the more quality interactions you can elicit with your story, the higher your engagement score will be. The weight of these interactions on the sum of your engagement varies based on the intensity of each interaction. The more positive the interaction, the more points it's worth. Examples of actions that can generate engagement points:
- The user watches the story until the end.
- The user watches the story to the end and then watches it a second time.
- The user watches the same story several times.
- The user watches part of the story.
- The user skips the story as soon as it starts to play.
- The user likes the story.
- The user replies to the story once.
- The user replies to the story more than once.
- The user watches the story and visits your profile.
- The user watches the story and follows your profile.
- The user watches the story and subscribes to your FanClub.
- The user watches the story and enters your room.
Stories are a very powerful tool because they allow you to quickly and easily create content that has a high potential for generating interaction. Stories draw users to your room when you're online and make it easier for them to interact with your profile when you're offline. This way, your engagement grows, as do the chances of keeping your content in the spotlight and, consequently, the chances of monetizing it not only through paid shows but also through other features such as direct messages, paid content sales, and FanClub subscriptions.
How to Stand Out More on Users' Timelines
6
There are several posts and stories on a user's timeline, just like on any social network. What determines whether your posts and stories will stand out to the user is your affinity with them, that is, your level of engagement.
The chances of your content appearing on the timeline of a user who has just finished a show with you, who likes your photos, and always leaves reviews are much higher than for a user that you've never interacted with or who has never accessed your profile. This is why it's crucial to keep your engagement high and stand out from the rest. Not to mention, Privezetes and Priveboys, that the more you are seen, the greater your chances of earning, get it?
Use your posts to earn likes, comments, and treats! Establish a routine and interact with your users a lot. Send direct messages and never forget to reply to your reviews. Value every interaction on your profile, because each one counts!

To attract or retain even more users who view and like your stories, you can keep an eye on these metrics and make sure they receive a thoughtful message. For example, "I see that you're always keeping an eye on my stories...How about we schedule a chat to meet tomorrow?" Or something like, "You really like my stories, don't you? Here's a treat for you. If you want to see more, subscribe to my FanClub! I have a treat waiting for subscribers every week."
